More worries with solutions
As i have been lacking in motivation to get stuff done what i have done is made myself a long term to do list chart and i am putting little happy face stickers by the things I have completed. It helps with my attitude and helps break up the massive amount of work into little manageable bits. lets hope it works. I have also written myself a little brief as if my project was set from an outside party rather than me doing it for myself.
My Worries
After my last catch up video I have been feeling more positive about the whole project but it is still hard and i do still feel like I'm sinking but gotta push on and get motivated. I did a couple of paintings today in the studio and although i wasn't to happy with the finished images I was pleased with the concept and techniques i used and hopefully I can use them to better effect in further images. I created the images by making random splurges on the pages with water colors then once they were dry I looked at the paint and tried to find images withing the colors and then outline them with ink to create a clear picture. I did this because i was thinking how different people see very different things in those ink splodges that psychiatrists show you and I wanted to find a way to show every one what you see. i shall upload the pictures when they are completely dry.

Prauge Snaps

Mono Prauge
This is a mono print i did of some of the ideas i have been having for the first final image (based on Prauge) I didn't think very successful at first but i have been told otherwise.
Some more of the masses of work that my self promotion took
After FOUR attempts at creating an animation that both fitted the flickbook template and flowed, with almost 70 images per animation, i finally succeeded and i was happy with the final result. These are a few components i used within the animation. Including the flickbook cover.
Self Promotional Stuff
This is the final animation which i had made into a flickbook as my self promotional piece
Video Diary 15
Me in a bit of a grumpy mood but explaining how i was enthused and inspired by the lecture this morning.
Final Image doodles
this is me going through the places that I am going to illustrate and just off of the top thinking what i might be able to include and draw from to create the images. from just a quick think I managed to come up with quite a few strong ideas for each image.
Self Promotion Stuff
These are just a few random doodles that i have done relating to my self promotion. at the moment i have no idea how i will use them i just thought it was a good idea to get something down and maybe find something I can use.
Dissertation Final Illustration
this is the final image done for the front cover of a dissertation. Not a successful image in my opinion but the client like them so job done. the customer is always right.
Video Diary 13
A bit of a harsh video blog entry mainly concerning our lecture from Mark Pawson. Sorry Mark
Back On Track!
Hi there guys havn't seen you in a few weeks. i have been getting carried away with other work and my portfolio stuff. Recently i have been spending most of my time in the print room adn trying to come up with a bit of support work before i start my final pieces. however this is proving to be a little harder than expected. I have been doing a few mono prints and i am looking to start a screen print next week. the mono print that i have put up is really just me doodling a few ideas for what i will be filling up my first final image with. my first final image is based on my time spent in Prague. As for the actual mono print its just doodles nothing very artistic but it's a more interesting way to do it i think. See you soon.
