Austrian Plan
A collaboration of photos and diary entries from my time in Austria to draw from and create my representations as illustrations.
Prague Final Start
This was a sketch of the final image for Prague that I have started. It gives me a good idea of where everything is going to go and how big everything should be so I can get the image layed out correctly. Time to crack on!
I have put the drawings onto canvas to try out different methods of coloring the final images. With each country i shall do this with a few different images to test different coloring methods and hopefully come across the right one. Most importantly I think the images should be consistent and colored all the same.
Renderd Prague Doodles
These drawings are of the same things as my previous post but I have completed them and made them ready to become images that can go on the final image of Prague. Of course they wont be stuck on they will be drawn directly on.
Prauge Doodles
A few little doodles that I have done for the Prague image. They include my representation of the astronomical clock in the main square, the awesome hostel that we managed to blag Plus Prague and finally The Bohemian Bagel bar, where the bar crawl started from.
Prauge Plan
These are snaps of my Prague plan sheet. I have taken relevant sections out of my diary and relevant photos out of my albums and put them all together so that as I doodle I can draw from the images and experiences I have recorded. I have also gone through the diary for Prague and picked out the events, places and people that will be represented in the final image. I have then written down how they will be represented in the drawing. There is nothing left to do but draw them.
Day to Day plan
This is a photo of my day to day plan. It is pinned up on my wall so I am always aware of it and know what is to be done every day. Everyday has one or 2 tasks to complete by the end of the day. I have kept them all bite size and manageable. hopefully despite my lack of organisation I should be able to stick to it.
Outside Work
This is some outside illustration I did for "POP" a cool new bar in Southampton. Along with several members of the illustration team I was given a table in the bar to redecorate. I chose to do a maze so customers would have something to do and interact with when waiting for food or just sitting down with a drink. I think it is a very successful image and I am very pleased with it. As was Barry the manager of pop so all in all this was a great little project. Barry has also requested that I return with emma to do a lot more decorating in the bar.
